PrincipalBill commenced his working life in the construction industry as a Cadet Draftsperson. During this period, Bill was involved in the structural detailing for the many new coal mines constructed in the early 1970’s. (Peak Downs, Saraji, Blackwater coal mines). Bill attained the position of ‘Design Office Manager’ with Boral steel at age 26. In 1983, Bill resigned his position and began his real estate career with Pearson Bros. in Cleveland. In 1984 Bill started his own office known as Bright Slater Cleveland. After the amalgamation with Nationwide Realty in 1987 , a local Coorparoo office was purchased and Bill became the principal of two successful Nationwide Realty offices at Coorparoo and Cleveland. In 1998, Nationwide Realty Coorparoo was rebadged into ‘Harcourts’ real estate chain. Kathy is responsible for the processing of all signed contracts to the relevant Solicitors, Owners, Purchasers and Financiers. As well, Kathy reconciles the general accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and the other general office administration associated with a staff of 16-18 employees. Norm Devine

Trent Powles
PrincipalTrent was born and raised on the southside, living at Mansfield for most of his life whilst completing his schooling at Cavendish Road High School. An avid sportsman, Trent played rugby league and cricket where he was a regular feature in representative sides. In 1990, Trent became part of a successful printing company, where within 2 years he was in charge of all production sales both here and abroad for his remaining 6 years with the company. Trent broadened his portfolio by accepting a Sales/Management position with a graphical design company in Vancouver, Canada, where he was a highly regarded member of a global organisation. Returning to Australia in 2000, Trent joined Jim Ryan at First National and enjoyed a highly successful year selling over forty properties.
